Music From Greer 2012, "music with altitude" celebrates its eleventh season with an addition of a brass ensemble to the programs of classical, jazz, bluegrass and roots.
The season begins on June 16th with a brass ensemble from Tucson in an open air venue at the Butterfly Lodge Museum. Quartet Greer, the Oklahoma string group, will return the second weekend in July followed by Ji Sun Lee with classical piano accompanied by Michael Lich on guitar. Michael Lich and friends, Noctrane, an adventurous new ensemble, explores the dynamic rhythms and landscapes of jazz, bluegrass and roots music. Tea For Five, a popular jazz group from Tucson, concludes the season in August.
